Decision-making
under pressure

with Paul Littlejohn, Former RAF Fighter Pilot & Strategic Advisor

What is it

Two formats, one principle: the method fighter pilots use to make high-stakes decisions when the information is incomplete, the pressure is real, and waiting isn't free.

Paul spent 16 years making critical decisions in fast-jet cockpits, then 12 years running large-scale operations across the UAE (Emirates Group, COO across 17 countries, $250M budget accountability). Both formats draw on that experience.

Format 1: Decision-Making Skills Workshop

A 90-minute facilitated session where your leadership team learns a repeatable method for making better decisions under pressure. Through structured exercises and real-world case studies, participants practise the same three-step approach used in military aviation and apply it to business scenarios.

Your team leaves with a shared method they can use immediately on any high-stakes decision.

Up to 8 participants. In-person or virtual.

Investment: USD 2,650.

Format 2: Strategic Challenge Session

A half-day facilitated session where Paul works with your leadership team on a specific business challenge you're facing. Restructure, growth strategy, market entry, operational performance, and team alignment.

Paul brings 25 years of diagnostic experience to your problem. Your team leaves with clarity on what's actually in the way, a concrete plan, and alignment on the next move.

Requires a 20-minute scoping call before booking.

Investment: USD 5,000.

Why organisations choose this

Leaders don't struggle with decisions because they lack intelligence. They struggle because the stakes feel too high, the variables are too tangled, and waiting feels safer than acting. Both formats address that directly with a practical method grounded in real operational experience.

About Paul Littlejohn

Paul began his career as an RAF fighter pilot, flying Jaguars and qualifying as a Weapons Instructor. He flew operational missions over the Iraqi no-fly zone, served as an Air Liaison Officer in Basra, and was selected for a US Marine Corps exchange tour at MCAS Miramar in San Diego, where he flew the F/A-18 as an instructor and qualified as a naval aviator operating off the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.

After sixteen years and retiring as a Squadron Leader, Paul moved into transformation and operations leadership in the UAE. He became Divisional VP of Airside Operations at dnata, running 10,000+ staff at one of the world's busiest airports, before taking on COO roles spanning global travel and tourism operations across 17 countries. He is also a faculty member at Hult International Business School.

He now works with leaders who can't afford to get high-stakes decisions wrong.
